Privacy Policy
Last Updated: November 08, 2026FlowSFTP is developed and maintained by digital code labs s.r.l. ("we", "us", or "our"). We believe your server credentials, SSH keys, and remote file hierarchies belong exclusively to you.
1. Zero Telemetry & Local Credential Storage
The FlowSFTP desktop application operates strictly locally on your machine:
- No Credential Transmission: Your SFTP/FTP/SSH passwords, passphrases, and private keys never leave your computer except when authenticating directly with the target server you configure.
- Native OS Keyring Vault: Credentials are stored encrypted in your operating system's native credential vault (Windows Credential Manager or Linux Secret Service / KWallet).
- No File Content Tracking: We do not collect, log, or inspect any filenames, paths, terminal commands, or file contents you transfer or edit.
2. Website & Auto-Updater Data
When you download FlowSFTP from flowsftp.com or when the desktop app checks for software updates:
- Download & Update Requests: Standard HTTP metadata (IP address, country derived via GeoIP, User-Agent, and requested version) is logged temporarily for aggregate download statistics and security rate-limiting. Download logs are automatically pruned after 3 months.
- Contact & Feature Request Forms: When you voluntarily submit a contact message or feature request, we store your name/email and message so we can respond to your inquiry.
3. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data you have submitted through our contact or feature request forms.
4. Contact Us
